Even with the year just beginning, it’s good to say that it’s been off to a great start! With the meeting with friends and everything settling down, we were very lucky to have an amazing Homecoming this month. From the involvement in the spirit days and rallies to the dance itself, this year’s Homecoming is one to remember. Many students expressed their love for the band, cheer, and dance performances (a huge round of applause who put in their time and effort to give it). In all, it was nice to see everyone together again, after such a hard year. Breaking the ticket sale record with over 1500 sold, the turnout at the dance was spectacular! Even with the cold weather, everyone showed up excited and looking their best. Whether coming with friends or not, it was a dance to experience. A freshman attendee reported that for their first homecoming, it was a lot of fun and they really enjoyed it. “Hanging out with friends was nice and the mosh pit was cool too,” they said. Now, it’s sure to be said that many others would agree as well. With that in mind, it’s the same hope that the next event we have will be as great as this one was, if not even better.
